 Here at Daniel Smith, printmaking has always been a major area of focus. Dan Smith started this company making etching inks in his basement. Since the late 70s, Daniel Smith has offered a wide range of printmaking supplies. Customers ranging from individual artists to print shops to major universities rely on the scope of our inventory and the quality of our service.
Etching inks were the first products we offered, and Dan's forumlations for etching inks are still used. The line has grown steadily over the years to include a wide selection of colors, and has expanded to include a brilliant selection of lithographic inks, as well as both oil-based and water-soluble relief inks. We also carry a strong selection of etching tools, modifiers, grounds, plates and felts.
