Diana Kosczor-Pfeufer discovered her passion for watercolor painting in childhood—a fascination that continued through her studies in architecture. She was especially drawn to sketching and painting on location, where drawing, color, and atmosphere come together.
She enthusiastically embraced the ideas of the Urban Sketchers movement, whose approach—capturing life through drawing—resonates deeply with her as both an architect and an artist.
A self-taught artist, she has continually refined her skills and now teaches workshops in urban sketching, nature sketching, and animal illustration. Her focus lies in the dynamic interplay of line and color—sometimes loose and sketchy, sometimes detailed and finely rendered. Her favorite subjects are animals and landscapes, which she paints expressively and with a keen sense of light and mood.
