As soon as I started using DANIEL SMI TH Watercolors, I felt a new dimension in my work with colors. Despite the unbelievable range of available colors, I could limit my palette to 18 and that is a great thing when you constantly travel for workshops. Now I have all the paints in a small box without taking up much space. Apart from that practical advantage, I was surprised to find out that I can mix more than 3 colors and it never looks muddy. All mixtures give a beautiful pearly shades that can be easily turned into something great with accents of pure colors put next to them. All DANIEL SMITH Watercolors are perfectly balanced and create good effects when put together in a painting. Another discovery was granulation. It creates new depth in my painting.
