成正勳出生於韓國麗水，一個有著美麗而發達的藝術文化的港口小城市。他從 10 歲起就開始在工作室裡畫畫。目前，他只用水彩作畫，並在世界各地展出他的作品。他現在住在京畿道高陽市，經營水彩工作室。
