The Tropics is a Biological War … A place where every living being fights for energy, nutrients and survival. Their ammunition is flavor, design, color, texture, camouflage, cadence, sound, poison and patience; all in a constantly changing environment. In order to interpret the tropics, an artist is required to constantly investigate and experiment new tools and forms that allow its proper emulation. DANIEL SMITH Watercolors and materials offer me the tools to do so.
The force of nature can be interpreted using their most singular variety of pigments and textures, that can be reached through the transparencies that their products let the artist produce. A great watercolor is a journey to enjoy, to play, to discover, to risk and DANIEL SMITH gives me all the best quality materials to create an adventure that travels as far as my imagination allows.
