Describe a recent art show in which you participated.
We have a Mariachi Festival every August in Guadalajara. This year we were invited to be part of this show to paint the mariachis and the Charrería. It was great to work with this inspiring subject – so much color and movement with Mexican flair!
What were the most recent photos you took that might inspire you to paint?
I am in love with landscapes, so almost every day I take photos of scenes I would like to paint.
What is the best piece of advice you have for other artists?
Find your own style and never stop learning and improving yourself.
