Agus Budiyanto lives in Indonesia and has embraced the world of watercolor for more than 40 years. He has been attracted to painting since his early childhood and has always wanted his paintings to appear different from what was the common rule, both in terms of size as well as in the mastery of techniques. For the last 20 years, he has been focusing on watercolor abstracts and installations.

Agus has held many solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 120 group exhibitions throughout Asia and Europe. He published an art book called AquarEvolution and conducts watercolor workshops. He’s a member of the Indonesia Watercolor Society, the International Watercolor Society and the International Master Watercolor Association. Agus is also an enthusiastic and active writer of poetry.
