Emma Vande Voort, originally from northwest Washington, is currently studying biology and art at Dordt University in Iowa with the intent to pursue a career in scientific illustration. Most of her paintings are either nature or landscape focused, and she also creates a variety of portrait and animal paintings that are popular for commissions.

Además de hacer arte, a Emma le encanta hacer caminatas, la jardinería, pasar tiempo al aire libre con su familia (junto con un perro, ovejas y gallinas) y relajarse en la casa con café o té y una buena película.
