Bold, bright and smooth, this stunning watercolor offers watercolorists a rich shade of yellow for captivating watercolors. So saturated that it is nearly orange at full strength, Isoindoline Yellow can be lightened with water for glowing, transparent washes. An even finish, and excellent light fastness, make this watercolor a pleasure to paint with. An excellent alternative to Cadmium Yellow Deep. Its warm, glowing, school bus yellow color and supremely smooth texture make it a palette essential. In light washes, it creates a soft, sunlit radiance.
En préparant un échantillon avec 10 parts d'eau pour 1 part de peinture (en poids) sur la palette, notre chimiste applique uniformément la moitié supérieure de l'échantillon à l'aide d'un pinceau rond afin de révéler la couleur et les caractéristiques de la peinture. Pour la moitié inférieure, il trempe une seule fois un pinceau plat de 2 cm dans le godet de peinture, puis applique la couleur par bandes jusqu'à ce que le pinceau soit sec, ce qui permet de visualiser la nuance et le comportement de la couleur par effet de lavis. Ces échantillons nous servent à l'harmonisation des couleurs lors du processus de fabrication.
