April of 2022, I was introduced to John and Katherine by Laurin McCracken in Bologna, Italy. This is where my world of Daniel Smith Watercolors began. To be honest, I painted with watercolors in the 1970’s, and was even juried into a few national exhibitions, but having the opportunities of seeing what I could accomplish when painting with Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors was, and continues to be, simply amazing. One of the rewards of being a Daniel Smith BA, is to meet and become friends with such skilled watercolor artists from around the world, and having the opportunities to learn from our international watercolor artists via Daniel Smith ZOOM Thursday mixes and Guest Artist Friday demos, and to actually see our friends face to face in Italy at FabrianoInAcquarello.
