If you’ve shopped at DANIEL SMITH stores in Seattle or Bellevue over the past 20 years, Thom Wright is a familiar face. He served as Stores Director and managed classes, workshops, and special events. For many years, Thom also taught classes and workshops in our stores.

He is excited to spend time with artists at Sketcher Fest in Edmonds, Washington July 12, and is thrilled that DANIEL SMITH is a GOLD sponsor again this year. Thom will be staffing the DANIEL SMITH Festival Table, sharing tips and techniques, and will host a special one-hour session explaining how we make paint and highlighting the colors that set DANIEL SMITH apart.

Thom will focus on how our innovations help you create better paintings and give you the tools to do your finest work. We make the tools, and Thom will help you master them for the best artistic outcomes.

A Special Presentation by Thom Wright

In addition to meeting artists throughout the event, Thom will present a special one-hour session designed to give urban sketchers a deeper look into the colors and innovations that make DANIEL SMITH unique.

Whether you’re new to DANIEL SMITH or have painted with our watercolors for years, this presentation will offer valuable insights into the materials you use and how they can help you create stronger, more expressive paintings.
