Lorraine Watry lives in Colorado and teaches art classes in person and online. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Colorado, she worked in graphic design for several years. She has worked with watercolor for nearly thirty years and juries for watercolor societies and art groups. She has over 28,000 YouTube subscribers and is a Master Artist mentor with Mastrius.com.

Lorraine is currently serving as Vice President for the National Watercolor Society and is slated to become President in 2024 and 2025. She’s also a Signature member of American Women Artists, Rocky Mountain National, Colorado Watercolor Society, Louisiana Watercolor Society, Missouri Watercolor Society and the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. Her paintings have been juried into 85+national and international exhibits, with many becoming part of private and corporate collections. Lorraine’s work has been recognized by art publications, including the Best of Watercolor – SPLASH 14/20/23/24, International Artist Magazine, The Artist Magazine and Pratique des Arts.
