John had the chance to visit our company’s founder, Dan Smith and introduced him to everyone at one of our weekly Zoom sessions. Dan shared his story about growing up in a small town and learning about running a successful business from his father. He talked about his work after college in commercial printing and how that eventually led him to starting the company. He answered questions and gave everyone some insight into his vision for the company, what makes him feel proud and grateful, and he also talked about one of the things he values most in life – the beauty of our world and how important it is to support artists who want to express that in their work.
