Each of Caroline’s delicate pendants starts with a metal cabochon—easily found at local bead or craft shops. These shallow, bezel-style settings provide the perfect base for her imaginative and expressive watercolor creations.
To begin, Caroline fills each cabochon with DANIEL SMITH Pearlescent White Watercolor Ground, creating a luminous surface that enhances the vibrancy of the colors layered on top. Once the ground is fully dry and cured, she applies tiny, intricate watercolor paintings by hand—turning each piece into a miniature artwork.
