As a self taught artist, Caroline Deeble’s artwork continues to evolve and can be expressed as “contemporary nature” in its style. Working with DANIEL SMITH Watercolors has enhanced her appreciation of quality pigments, with their glazing & granulating abilities which create expressive marks in her work.

Her unique style has been created on her artistic journey of 30+ years, exploring layers of colour and shadows, while capturing the essence of free flowing water, natural habitats & modern mark-making.  Caroline has a genuine passion for the importance of art in our lives. She has spent more than 20 years working with adults & young people in Fine Arts Education, as well as showing her artwork in local, national & international exhibitions.

“I am a visual thinker. With each moment captured in time, an inerasable photograph is etched in my mind. It is these images that in turn redevelop and become the new image of the next artwork that I create. My paintings are my visual, creative response to my daydreams. Bringing them to life is my reward. I see myself as a painter of our natural world. Its beauty, colours and organic form inspires my continued developing artistic response. My passion & experience enables me to share my art and technical skills through my private studio workshop classes.”

Caroline’s recent awards and recognition includes being a finalist in the top 32 Australian Watercolour Artists for the Australian Watercolour Muster, being selected for the top 30 Australian Artists for FabrianoinAquarello in 2022 & 2019, and being selected as an international exhibitor for IWS Greece 2021. She was also juried into the 2020 Malaysia International Online Art Competition called Landscapes. She is an Australian delegation country leader for Urbinoinaquarello 2021, MonzaInAquarello 2020,  and IWS Bulgaria Watercolour & Spirit Triennial 2022.
