Describe a recent art show you attended – what was particularly inspiring?
At shows in Bologna and Leiden, I was in a positive mood, met many good friends and had a great time. I felt so inspired to paint cityscapes from both places.
Where were the last few photos you took that might inspire you to paint?
In Holland – at Leiden, Giethorn, Delft and Rotterdam.

I’m going to Greece this weekend for some plein air painting. Then I’m going to Paris, where I will stay 4 weeks with family and friends. I look forward to painting amazing cityscapes of Paris. I will also visit Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and painted amazing views – there I will also do plein air work.
