Ahmet Öğreten lives in Istanbul, Turkey and received his education at the University of Mechanical Engineering. His first acquaintance with watercolor was in a workshop in 1994, after which he studied painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and started to demo and teach painting workshops in 1998.

Ahmet has had 12 personal painting exhibitions and has participated in more than 60 group exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey and abroad.
