Aña Tyulpanova was born in the culturally rich crossroads of the North Caucasus in Russia. Currently residing in Prague, she travels the world exploring diverse cultures. Her sense of belonging doesn’t align with any specific place; she deliberately reflects cultural contrasts through her appearance, lifestyle and artistic expression.

Aña has been actively involved in the watercolor and Urban Sketchers communities, organizing workshops with world-renowned artists in Prague and participating in international watercolor events. She is the leader of the International Watercolor Society in the Czech Republic and a co-founder of the annual international festival Prague Plein Air.
