Raw Umber is a dark brown earth pigment that was once used by ancient man to paint on cave walls. It has a slightly greenish tint when compared with Burnt Umber.
Gouache swatches are painted in two sections. The top is mass tone straight from the tube and the bottom is mixed 1:1:1 with paint, water and Titanium White.
