If you could take only three colors with you on vacation, which three would they be?
I would take prime colors, of course – Blu oltremare, Rosso Alizarina Permanente E Hansa Yellow Light.
Tell us about a recent art show you attended.
A recent exhibition I enjoyed was the ECWS Symposium in Bilbao, Spain last fall. It was a really good show with incredible demos. Bilbao has a wonderful school of watercolor, too.
What were the last reference photos you shot for a painting?
Flowers – I enjoy painting flowers.
What’s the best piece of advice another artist has given you?
Charles Reid said “Don’t paint all the windows in a building.”
