Emma Vande Voort, originally from northwest Washington, is currently studying biology and art at Dordt University in Iowa with the intent to pursue a career in scientific illustration. Most of her paintings are either nature or landscape focused, and she also creates a variety of portrait and animal paintings that are popular for commissions.

Oltre a fare arte, Emma ama fare escursioni, fare giardinaggio, passare il tempo all'aperto con la sua famiglia (insieme a un cane, pecore e galline) e rilassarsi in casa con caffè o tè e un bel film.
