Based in Cork, Ireland, artist Sebastian Thommen has been honing his skills in watercolor professionally for the past several years, which has been a hobby since his early teens. Trained as an actor, Sebastian has blended his fifteen years of film performance skills with his twenty-six years of watecolor experience, bringing about a perfect marriage of his two passions with the impulse to include spontaneity and drama in his work.

Captivated by the outdoors, plein air painting has become his go-to scenario, where he likes to document his process with a camera in the hopes of inspiring others to do the same – to get outside and paint from life.
