Jorge Corpuna studied at the Carlos Baca Flor National School of Art in Arequipa, Peru. Much of his award-winning work is inspired by the indigenous origins of Peruvian watercolor. The chromatic harmony in his atmospheric landscapes conveys the deep respect that he has for the grandeur of the Andes. Jorge’s paintings highlight the sacred energy of this region with vibrant color – revealing panoramas that are both universal and intimate.
