“I was born on May I, 1953, in the city of RIO CUARTO, Argentina.
With technical training but self-taught in this art, in 1987 I dropped oil and I dedicated myself almost entirely to work in watercolour studying the books that were available at that time.
Painting a lot in plein air, in my studio, alone or with other artist friends was a constant activity. In March 2002 I began to share my knowledge, I started a watercolour workshop and there I discovered that you need to be very giving and that the teacher learns a lot with his students. To this day continue with this task either through workshops in different locations or permanently in my studio.
My work has been purchased by public and private collectors in Latin America and countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, France, USA and others. In my career I have been awarded several prizes in painting competitions and I have had more than 100 individual and collective exhibitions. In March 2024, I organized my first International Watercolour Festival in Argentina, YAKU Argentina, in the city of Rio Cuarto in the Province of Cordoba.”
“At that time when I first started using watercolours, in Argentina we did not have many possibilities to have quality materials, so I got used to working with what was available but communications have made it easier to get to know new products.
l discovered DANIEL SMITH and that was a rebirth of my art: the quality of its pigments, its intensity, its textures, its endless possibilities, have made me a fan of the brand, because I am sure that it will continue to advance in its development and I want to be there.”
