Susana Abundis is from Coyoacán, Mexico where she studied Industrial Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana. From a very early age, she began to draw the human figure and over the years she has learned a variety of fine art techniques. She has dedicated herself to watercolor since 2018, teaching classes and painting commissions. The figurative style is her main form of expression and she enjoys experimenting with contemporary watercolor textures.
Susana’s award-winning work has been part of individual and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. It can also be seen in collections at the National Watercolor Museum and the Bolivarian Museum of Contemporary Art. She’s on the Board of Directors for the Mexican Society of Watercolorists.

In this complicated world, it is important to rescue and express beauty, since it has transformed humanity throughout history and continues to do so.”
